It must’ve only taken a few seconds after meeting Lauren for me to realize…. this is going to be fun! Even tho I didn’t know then that by 202o I’d be calling her My Cousin Lauren! 🙂 When I first met her, it was with her mom who was just the sweetest. And Lauren seemed excited about everything! Rightly so. Natalie Dawley of Two Be Wed was in charge of making their day pure perfection. And at The Astorian, it wasn’t going to be too hard. Plus with all the love and excitement throughout the day, I was sure to come out with some epic photos to remain in my top favorite… for ever!

Fast forward two years later, we’re all still loving this Houston wedding with all the photography and video at The Astorian. Truly timeless!

“I’m not sure if you can imagine a happy as a clam bride…but that was me! Loved every moment of my wedding and wedding weekend! We knew that everyone worked so hard and all the details were perfect,” Lauren says. “I think a few special moments were when my dad saw me in my dress, when I did my first look with Oren at the staircase at the Four Seasons, and the first time I walked into The Astorian – it was so beautiful, it took my breath away, and of course walking down the aisle.”

The Houston Wedding Pros:

One of my favorite ways to break the norm is doing the letter exchanging in person rather than separately. It saves time during tight timelines but it also makes for tender photos.
