Astorian Wedding // Erin + Chase

The great thing about photographing an Astorian wedding is how versatile the venue can truly be. The Astorian easily accommodates different themes for weddings: romantic, modern, alternative, and art deco! Erin + Chase’s Glam themed wedding set the bar high for a memorable day. As a result, we even shocked Bravo’s Real Housewives of Dallas, Leeanna Locken, on national TV! I mean, truly! When designing their wedding Erin shared: We wanted our wedding to flow with the Astorian’s natural accents. This included even the smallest of details! Our table cloths in the reception area were shades of champagne. We had soft accents of mauve and aubergine through out the venue. My bridesmaids also wore sleek black! We tied the glam back in with our cocktail hour featuring sleek black tablecloths and gold furniture pieces.

As Erin + Chase focused on all these deep details, we focused on bringing our A game! As a result of our dedication, the photos were published by Wedding in Houston on their 2019 issues (dedicating a three page spread to this gorgeous Houston wedding). Looking back on these pictures and videos, remind me how important photography and video is on a wedding day. Because after the flowers wilt and the day’s long gone… we still have these photos and videos. These are the happy memories we, in turn, pass down from generation to generation.
