This Italy destination wedding photography began with Hoffland Studios. Eric Hoffland was contracted by Marissa to capture the beautiful day in Castello di Meleto. It’s very common for photographers to want a second shooter but Eric had a better suggestion of Marissa… to hire me as well! Neither Eric nor I are ‘second’ shooters so we decided to team up and make this a collaborative photography work. His artistry and approach is a bit different than mine and while most couples have to choose between one style and another, Marissa and Jeremy got the best of two worlds!
It was a great pleasure working along side Eric and equally as amazing was working with Marissa and Jeremy and their entire wedding! Marissa and Jeremy spent a lot of time, effort, and investment on their destination wedding and it was beautiful to see the two embrace the experience all the way! But the day was such a dream that even weeks after the wedding Marissa texted me saying it still didn’t feel real… However, we’ve always got the photos to prove it!

Castello di Meleto dates back to the 11th century and on every corner there seems to be an interesting and romantic photo with a little piece of history.
First time I ever crawl under the makeup artist’s table for a shoe shot… But this photo was worth it! Gotta love those Jimmy Choo shoes!
The groom and his groomsmen photos… I love how reflective these are to Jeremy’s personality and background!
Boudoir shoot in the middle of an already hectic wedding day? … Why not?! Honestly, she looked stunning before putting on the wedding dress so these were “must have” shots!
Trying to light a candle at the top of a mountain… 😀
My favorite photo at every small wedding!!
Castello di Meleto grows their own grapes for their wine so we made a stop by their grapevines for photos.
The best reception lighting I’ve ever seen!
Marissa stunned us before she put on the wedding dress, after she put on the wedding dress, and then a third time when she put on her reception dress!! Jeremy couldn’t keep his eyes or hands off her.
